Thrown away is the name of the game.
Forgotten because you are so lame.
The game starts when you fall in love.
To a girl maybe as pure as a dove.
The fun starts when they really care.
And you swear you'll always be there.
You ride the wave for a long while.
Then you are told about the new smile,
That you couldn't give them anymore.
And how you feel used like a door,
And to see this person leave your eyes,
Something in your heart slowly dies.
Laid to waste like a broken gift.
And these feelings I can not shift.
Extra piece of the puzzle is all I am.
You don't need me with your new man.
God I feel so unwanted, so useless,
How I should've never got into this.
It is time to go on down the road.
Hope these memories turn to smoke.
The game is over when you are broken,
And that time of my life was frozen.
